Canadian Boeing 747-475224 viewsIn early 1999,this aircraft was one of the first-and last-to receive Canadian Airlines independent livery.That same year,following dramatic losses and severe takeover fights,the airline became a subsidiary of Air Canada.The paint scheme called"Proud Wings"-a stylized goose covering about a third of the fuselage-was initilly intended to mark a new beginning for the company which was founded on January 1,1948,Canadian Pacific Airlines.Since the beginning of 2000,however,all of Canadians aircraft have recieved a paint scheme almost identical to Air Canada's.
